Standard Compute ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
Account information — When you sign up we collect your email address and create a secure account through our authentication provider (Supabase).
API keys — When you generate an API key we store an encrypted version of the key, a cryptographic hash for validation, the key prefix and last four characters for display, and timestamps for creation and last use.
Usage data — We record basic usage metadata such as when your API key was last used. This helps us enforce fair-use limits and keep the service reliable.
Session data — We use cookies to maintain your login session. These are strictly functional and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Provide and operate the service — authenticate your requests, route them to the appropriate model, and enforce plan limits.
Improve reliability — monitor aggregate usage patterns to maintain uptime and performance.
Communicate with you — send transactional emails related to your account, billing, or service changes.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
API keys are encrypted server-side using AES-GCM and validated with HMAC-SHA256 hashes. Only the last four characters of a key are ever displayed in plaintext.
Database access is restricted with row-level security policies so that each user can only access their own data.
All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS.
We use Supabase for authentication and data storage. Supabase processes your data on our behalf and is bound by its own privacy and security commitments.
When you send prompts through our API, they are forwarded to upstream LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI) via US and European infrastructure to generate responses. These providers do not use API traffic for model training under their current terms. We do not use your prompts or outputs to train models.
Stripe processes subscription payments on our behalf. Stripe receives your email address and payment method details. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account information.
Your data is processed and stored exclusively in US and European infrastructure. Our database is hosted on AWS in the EU (eu-central-1) via Supabase. Upstream LLM providers process inference requests through their US and European endpoints. Your data is never routed through jurisdictions outside the US and EU.
Standard Compute processes personal data as a data controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our lawful basis for processing is contractual necessity — we need your email to create your account and deliver the service you signed up for.
We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area except to sub-processors that maintain appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms).
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to protect against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
You have the right to access your data, rectify inaccuracies, request erasure, restrict processing, and receive your data in a portable format. All of these rights can be exercised from the Dashboard or by emailing contact@standardcompute.com. We respond to data subject requests within 30 days.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Dashboard. This action is immediate and irreversible — all API keys are invalidated and all usage data is removed.
Standard Compute is not directed at children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 16 without parental consent, we will delete that data promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@standardcompute.com.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or by placing a notice on the website at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, reach out to us at contact@standardcompute.com.
