A European AI platform with two products: AI Gateway, one OpenAI-compatible API to 200+ models with smart routing, caching, budgets and observability, and AI Workspace, a chat and agents workspace for business teams.
Pricing: AI Gateway pay-as-you-go is provider pricing plus a 5% platform fee ("if a model costs $10 per 1M tokens, you'll pay $10.50 per 1M tokens through nexos.ai"), with a $5 minimum top-up and no monthly minimum. Enterprise is custom pricing with invoicing. Workspace seats include "up to 3,000 credits per month/per seat". (Verified 2026-10-13.)
nexos.ai is a governance-first European gateway: provider prices plus 5%, budgets per team or key, and certifications a CISO can sign off on, with a business chat workspace alongside. Pick it when EU hosting of the gateway and enterprise controls decide the purchase. Pick Standard Compute when the problem is the coding-agent bill itself: a flat plan per developer key from $19 a month, smart routing, and requests that stop at the budget instead of a per-token invoice.
Standard Compute is an OpenAI-compatible API with frontier-model compute at a flat monthly price (from $19/mo): no per-token billing and no 5-hour or weekly windows. Requests run at full speed until the monthly compute budget is used, then stop until renewal or an upgrade. There are no overage charges.
Buying for a team: EU LLM API for coding agents · AI coding agent cost per developer · LLM API for agencies
Standard Compute is OpenAI-compatible, so any tool or SDK that lets you set a custom base URL migrates in minutes:
Base URL = https://api.stdcmpt.com/v1 API key = your Standard Compute key Model = standardcompute
Setup guides for OpenClaw, Hermes, OpenCode, Cursor, Cline, Aider and more are on the integrations page. Free tier to test it, no card required.
Per token, nexos.ai charges provider pricing plus a 5% platform fee, which is less than our pay-as-you-go top-ups (usage plus 15%). Standard Compute plans work differently: a fixed monthly price ($19 to $249 for individual plans) buys a slightly larger compute budget ($20 to $269), and routing to efficient models stretches it. Light or uneven usage is usually cheaper metered; steady daily agent use is where a fixed plan pays off.
Yes. nexos.ai documents Claude Code with ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL set to https://api.nexos.ai. On Standard Compute you set ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL to https://api.stdcmpt.com, and the same key also serves OpenAI-compatible tools at https://api.stdcmpt.com/v1, Codex through /v1/responses, and OpenCode through models.dev.
If the requirement is that the gateway and its logs stay in the EU, nexos.ai, which hosts the platform in Europe. Standard Compute's Europe rule restricts a key, team or company to provider endpoints in Europe and asks for zero data retention, but requests pass through our gateway and OpenRouter, which can process them outside the EU. Our EU guide lists which models run in Europe.
Not for the gateway. AI Gateway is pay-as-you-go from a prepaid balance plus the 5% fee, and Enterprise is custom pricing. AI Workspace is sold per seat with a monthly credit allowance, for chat and agents rather than API use.
