Use Standard Compute with jcode
A high-performance coding-agent harness written in Rust, built to run many sessions and agent swarms on little RAM, with named profiles for any OpenAI-compatible API. Paste three settings into jcode: the base URL, your Standard Compute API key and the model.
jcode's provider add takes the key from stdin (--api-key-stdin), from an environment variable (--api-key-env) or not at all for localhost servers (--no-api-key), and --set-default makes the profile the startup provider and model.
Eligible new accounts can try $0.25 of compute, with no card. See trial terms →
Your connection settings
Copy these values, then put them where jcode expects them (steps below).
Base URL

Your Standard Compute keyModel
standardcomputeWhere to set them in jcode
- Run printf '%s' "$STANDARDCOMPUTE_API_KEY" | jcode provider add standardcompute --base-url https://api.stdcmpt.com/v1 --model standardcompute --api-key-stdin --set-default.
- That writes [providers.standardcompute] to ~/.jcode/config.toml and stores the key in jcode's private config directory, not in your shell history.
- Check it with jcode --provider-profile standardcompute auth-test --no-tool-smoke, then start jcode. Add --model-catalog to the provider add command to list every model from /v1/models.
