Use Standard Compute with Rakazo

An open-source, self-hosted alternative to Grok Bot, Meta Muse and OpenAI Dots: persistent AI teammates with their own computers, on the web, desktop, iPhone and Android, with your own model. Paste three settings into Rakazo: the base URL, your Standard Compute API key and the model.

Rakazo blocks public OpenAI-compatible endpoints unless the deployment sets RAKAZO_OPENAI_COMPAT_ALLOW_PUBLIC=1, and a public endpoint must use HTTPS; private and loopback addresses need no flag.

Eligible new accounts can try $0.25 of compute, with no card. See trial terms →

Copy these values, then put them where Rakazo expects them (steps below).

Where to set them in Rakazo

  1. In your Rakazo deployment's .env, set RAKAZO_OPENAI_COMPAT_ALLOW_PUBLIC=1 (public model endpoints are blocked without it) and recreate the stack.
  2. Open Settings → Models (or Connect a model during onboarding) and choose OpenAI-compatible. Paste https://api.stdcmpt.com/v1 as the OpenAI-compatible server URL.
  3. Enter the Model id standardcompute (or pick one from Models from server) and your Standard Compute API key, then connect. Under Advanced, turn on Supports images to keep the screenshot computer tools.

What changes in Rakazo

Billing
Rakazo requests draw on one monthly compute budget, with plans from $19 a month. There is no per-token bill. When the budget is used, requests stop until renewal or an upgrade, unless you turn on pay as you go.
Models
The model standardcompute picks a frontier or an efficient model for each request. An exact model ID from the Models page pins one model instead.
Good to know
Rakazo is free and open source (Apache 2.0) and in beta. Hosted Rakazo Cloud is not generally available, so you self-host it and pay for models and any remote computer provider you enable.
