GPT-5.4 costs about $0.10 per average coding-agent request on our measured traffic, at list prices of $2.50 per million input and $15 per million output tokens. It scores 39 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index (an estimate), 19th of the 48 models we track. Source: Artificial Analysis (artificialanalysis.ai)

Prompts over 272K tokens (11% of our requests) bill at $5 input and $22.50 output per million.

GPT-5.4 is OpenAI's March 5, 2026 GPT-5 model, priced at $2.50/$15 per million tokens with a 1,050,000-token context. Artificial Analysis estimates 39 on its Intelligence Index, about level with GPT-5.5 (38) at half its cost per request in our measurements ($0.10 vs $0.21), and measures about 95 output tokens per second. Artificial Analysis lists it as superseded, and GPT-6.1 Sol scores 52 at a lower list price ($2/$10).
